July 12, 2008 - Visiting the Russell Farm

Today was a very interesting day. I got to see a piece of Russell Family history.
We went to visit the family farm.
My Great-Grandpa Russell and my Grandpa Russell grew up here.
You wouldn't believe all of the beautiful land that surrounds the house and the other buildings.
It was pretty amazing!
Here's Daddy and I taking a look around. Here's Uncle Stephen and Audrey in what used to be the dairy.

Daddy looks a little sad...I think it was kind of a hard day for him.
I told you it was beautiful!!

I somehow manage to find trucks wherever I go!
I got to take the red truck that I'm playing with home with me.
Here's the old Russell home.
Imagine growing up surrounded by this view!!

On our way out of town, we stopped to see this unique little church.
My Daddy is taller than it!!

Here's some pictures from the inside.

I had a good day with my family!

July 10, 2008 - THE STAMPEDE

Today turned out to be an overcast, chilly day. Even though the weather wasn't great, we made our way out to the Famous Calvary Stampede.
I was pretty excited...and so were Mommy and Daddy! Mommy was excited to see cowboy hats...even if it was on the bathroom door...go figure.

Here's the Canadian Flag.
There were TONS of animals to see. Uncle Matt and Audrey were looking at something here...I wonder what it was....
YIKES!!!

There were several military displays. Here are Uncle Stephen and Jonas on a torpedo.
After all, torpedos are supposed to have saddles, right? :)

Check me out! I'll bet you didn't think I could handle this big rig, did ya?

To warm up a bit, we headed indoors for this awesome bike show.
Guess what?!! Before the show started, my face was shown up on the JUMBOTRON!!
That was so cool!
I was really into watching all the bike tricks.

Daddy and Jonas decided to try on some cowboy hats! Pretty cool, huh?
YEE-HAW!!!!

Believe it or not, right after we got back on the train, a huge hail storm started.
(You can sort of see it on the window.)
Who ever heard of hail in July!??!!?
It was a great day!

July 9, 2008 - SHAKERS!

Today we went to this cool indoor arcade place called... This indoor playground was pretty challenging. I had fun trying, though!

Mommy's wild side came through when she took me on this crazy motorcycle ride.
Notice how she is smiling, and I look I don't look the least bit confident.
I'm trying to figure out how she ever got her license.....
All of decided to race cars....all of us, that is, except for Mommy. WHEW!!Jonas tried his luck on this game. Now that we're back to the house, it's time for a cold drink and a nap!

July 8, 2008 - Fun at the Water Park

Today, we went to this awesome park! Not only did it have swings, slides, and jungle gyms, but there was lots of water stuff, too. Check it out! I didn't care too much for the water stuff, but I was VERY happy on the playground.

Here's Daddy and Jonas being silly!

Time to slide!!

Jonas loves the water!

And so does Audrey!

Daddy and I took one last look around before it was time to go.
We had a great time!

July 7, 2008 - My Airplane Adventure

Today was an exciting day for Us Russells! We got up bright and early and headed to the airport. In just a little while, we would be landing in CANADA! Yea, that's right---I'm a world traveler! We were going to visit my Uncle Matt, my Aunt Dana, and my 2 cousins, Jonas and Audrey. Even though I was sleepy, I was excited!
We came across this cool cart while walking to our gate.
Of course, I had to check it out.
Soon after we boarded the plane, I just couldn't keep my eyes open anymore.
zzzzzzzzz.....

When I woke up from my nap, check out the view I had!!

Being on the airplane is so cool!
Finally, after a VERY long day of travel, we made it to the Canadian Russell's house!
I finally got to meet everybody!

Here's me with Jonas and Audrey.
Mommy and Daddy, being the HUGE Phillies fans that they are, brought some cool stuff for Audrey and Jonas to wear.
GO PHILS!!

Before bed, Daddy read all of us one of his favorite books....
"Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day."

Wait a minute....this wasn't a bad day....

I'm looking forward to a great visit!!
