HAPPY THANKSGIVING! - November 22, 2007

Happy Turkey Day! Mommy had to leave pretty early this morning so she could get to the parade site on time. I managed to steal her cowgirl hat before she took off! Howdy Partner! YEE HAW!!!!! Well, Daddy and I watched the TV really close, but Mommy didn't get much air time. Oh well....the important thing is that she had a good time!
Once she got home, we all headed to Uncle Albert and Aunt Annette's house for Thanksgiving dinner.
Here's me with my cousin Amanda.

PopPop said he has something cool to show me. I wonder what it could be....

Wow!! A brand new Lincoln MKZ!!!!
Looks like my car seat is already inside! Woo Hoo!

I better check out these rims to make sure they're in mint condition.

Everything looks good!
I just can't get enough of thing with WHEELS!! Vroom!!

Here's me and my cool cuz, Aaron. I want him to teach me how to play basketball someday.

Here's me and Mommy...but I've still got my eyes on that Lincoln!

Grandmom and Me....Perfect together!

Hmmm....I wonder if there's any turkey left??

What is my crazy Uncle Albert doing??
Oh great....now he's trying to make me look nuts, too!

Okay...now that we're home, it's time to raid the cabinets. I'm still hungry!!!

Here's my pretty kitty cat, Abby, resting after a very busy Turkey Day!
Ahhh....resting.....sounds like a very good idea!!

November 21, 2007

Mommy has been country line dancing for many many years. This Thanksgiving, she had the unique opportunity to dance in the Channel 6 Boscov's Thanksgiving Parade in front of Josh Gracin's float. He was one of the 10 finalists on American Idol a couple of seasons back.
Here are some pictures from the dress rehearsal.
Right before Mommy's group practiced, this HUGE group of tapdancers had a run-through. Mommy said the sound of the tapshoes all tapping at the same time was really cool!
Mommy found a big present with her name on it while she waited to perform.
She must have been on Santa's "Nice" list.
Here is a picture of the Art Museum steps all decorated and ready to go.

Here's the star of the parade!!!

Here's Aunt Bet and Mommy striking a pose with Josh Gracin!!!
Mommy said he was a really nice guy.

I just love this cool toy that Mrs. Culbertson gave me. When I was only a few months old, I used to just stare at the lights when Mommy pushed the buttons. Now that I'm almost a whole year old, I can do everything myself!

November 17, 2007

Today is "Aunt" Lisa's 30th birthday.
Before we left, I decided to play a short game of "Peek-a-Boo" with Mommy.

When we got to "Aunt" Lisa's house, she had some of Matthew's (her son) toys out. This car was by far my favorite!

"Uncle" Mike set up a fire pit in the backyard. Daddy and I hung out there for quite awhile.
It was such a nice night out.

I also got to hang out with "Aunt" Kelly. She's so cool!

November 16, 2007

Today, Mommy conducted a photo shoot in the hopes of getting some pictures to use on my Thanksgiving card.
This is one of the first pictures she took--definitely a keeper!

Here I am giving the camera a Raspberry!

Time for a little snack. Yummy!

Today when Mommy came to pick me up after school, I was all cuddled up with my PopPop sound asleep.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.........

November 13, 2007

Mommy had a very special day at school today. Donovan McNabb, the quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles came to visit her school. One of the students there won a contest called "Take an NFL Player to School."
The school was fully decorated with the Eagles colors and emblems. Here he is coming out of the Principal's office.

Here is a table full of the things he autographed for our school.

Here is our Superintendent being interviewed by Jennaphr Frederick from Fox 29 news.

Here's the big stretch limo he arrived in.

Here's a great shot of me and Donovan. Peek-a-boo! : )

Before he left, Donovan had a football team with one of the fourth grade classes.

What a cool day! Mommy's school was on every single news channel. She was very excited!
Daddy, on the other hand, wished it had been John Elway that had visited!!!

November 11, 2007

Mommy and Daddy bought me this awesome new truck -- my very own BIG RIG! I love to press all of the buttons so I can hear all of the cool truck sounds it makes.

Can you believe it? Mommy stopped taking pictures of me long enough to catch Chickie striking a pose! I love my kitties!!!

Here's me hanging out with Uncle Dave. He's one cool dude.

I just LOVE my truck!
I'll bet you'll never guess why I've got such a big smile on my face.....

...Look Ma---no PANTS?!?!?! : )
he he he

Hey, ya gotta keep things interesting, right?

November 10, 2007

This morning, I hung out with Uncle Dave for a little while. He let me try on his cool hat. After about 10 seconds though, I decided it was not so cool!
Later in the day, we headed over to the Montagne's house for a get together.
Their son, Parker, thought he would give the greatest present of all to his big brother, Jake---himself!!

Here's me--playing with 2 of my favorite things.
Toys with wheels and water bottles!!!

Here's the newest addition to the Hunt family---Reagan. She's gotten so big!

Here's Reagan's sister, Chloe. I love those curls!

November 9, 2007

Nothing like taking a nice long nap with my cuddly friend, Pooh, in Mommy and Daddy's big, comfy bed. Hey, look---I'm finally awake!
Time to hang out with Grandmom and PopPop.

Wanna see a new trick I learned recently???

I LOVE being on the stairs. I not supposed to be on them,
but .....( he he he )

I got some mail today from my Great Pretty Granny and my Great Handsome Pop.
I love to get mail.

Look at the cool picture on the front.

November 2, 2007

Guess what? Today I officially turned 10 months old! What better way to celebrate than to take a nice, long, relaxing bath?!
Check out this cool hair-do Daddy gave me. Watch out Donald Trump!! Okay...seriously...even my duckie is giving me strange looks...
Check out the 'do'...up close and personal!

I am going to speak to hire a new stylist...this is ridiculous!

October 31, 2007

Here are some pictures from my very first Halloween. I went into Mommy's school and hung out with her and "Aunt" Sandra for a little while. All of the teachers from Mommy's school dressed up like a deck of cards. Here's one of Mommy's students. Guess what his name is?
Yup...DYLAN!! He was one cool dude!
Here's Mommy and me hanging out in the cafeteria during the school Halloween party. It was really loud in there!

Mommy didn't get too many pictures of me on Halloween. We made a couple of stops on the way home. I took a nap in my car seat during the drive. Once we arrived home, Mommy had planned to take me to visit all of our neighbors, but guess what??! I didn't wake up from that "nap" until 5:45am the next morning. I slept right through my very first Trick-or- Treat opportunity! Better luck next year!!

October 28, 2007

Today was a big day for me! I got to participate in my very first Halloween parade. There was so much to look at. There were kids of all ages dressed up as all kinds of different things. It took me awhile to take it all in...
I saw a couple of other monkeys---just like me! :)

Mommy pulled me (and my favorite duckie) around in my wagon.

I'm just not sure what to think of all this Halloween stuff.....

After awhile, I started to get pretty sleepy. I could barely keep my eyes opened long enough to finish my juice.

We marched a little less than a mile or so and ended up at the Fire House. The firefighters gave out these cool mugs filled with candy!!!

While Mommy and I were having fun at the parade, Daddy was hard at work cutting down the huge tree in front of our house. Mommy and Daddy hated to get rid of it, but the roots were starting to crack the foundation of our house.

Here are Uncle Matt and Daddy trying to figure out how to save our fence!

PopPop stopped by for a visit. I had to fill him in on what was going on.

Look at my Daddy working away!!

Check this out!
One of the large branches of our tree was shaped like a heart.
Isn't that cool?
We saved this part of the stump.
It was just too cool to get rid of!

Hmmm....I wonder what kind of mess I can make with this.... Do you think I can escape before anyone catches me?
